Royal Caribbean unveils new Legend of the Seas cruise ship

Royal Caribbean has introduced Legend of the Seas, the latest Icon‑class cruise ship, featuring a new Family Ocean View Balcony stateroom that measures 285 sq ft, includes a private balcony and can accommodate up to six passengers. The cabins have split bathrooms, multiple power outlets and USB ports, and can be linked via a shared vestibule to create a mini‑suite for larger families.

The ship was showcased on a four‑night preview sailing from Málaga to Rome, with travel journalists and Irish cruise agents on board. Legend of the Seas offers 28 dining venues, eight immersive neighbourhoods, new water attractions and entertainment such as Roald Dahl’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.” The launch emphasizes multi‑generational family holidays and reinforces Royal Caribbean’s partnership with the Irish travel trade.
