Royal Caribbean unveils top 2026 cruise itineraries and new private islands

Royal Caribbean promotes its 2026 cruise program, highlighting three of the world’s largest vessels—Icon of the Seas, Star of the Seas and Legend of the Seas—among a fleet of about 30 ships. The line categorises its ships into six classes, ranging from Vision and Radiance vessels for roughly 2,000 guests to megaship classes (Quantum, Oasis, Icon) that can host up to 7,500 passengers, with Freedom and Voyager ships in between.

Recent upgrades include a $100 million refurbishment of Allure of the Seas in 2025 and renovations of Ovation, Harmony and Liberty of the Seas this year. The cruise line continues to develop private‑island experiences: Perfect Day at CocoCay in the Bahamas, a new beach club at the same location opened in December 2025, a European version in Santorini, the Royal Beach Club Lelepa on Vanuatu, and a Perfect Day Mexico offering slated for 2027.

Among the featured itineraries, Anthem of the Seas will sail the South Pacific in 2026, departing Sydney for stops in New Caledonia, Port Vila (Vanuatu) and the new Royal Beach Club Lelepa before returning to Australia.
