Royal Caribbean's Legend of the Seas Becomes the World’s Largest Cruise Ship
Royal Caribbean International has launched the Legend of the Seas, the biggest cruise ship ever built. The 365‑metre vessel, with 20 decks, can accommodate up to 7,600 guests. Its debut took place at the port of Málaga at the end of June, marking the start of a new era for the cruise industry.
The ship features a “Neighborhood” concept that separates themed zones, offering a range of experiences from a Central Park‑style promenade to a surf‑themed family area. Onboard entertainment includes a state‑of‑the‑art AquaDome and numerous performance venues, while more than 40 dining outlets provide diverse culinary options. The launch highlights Royal Caribbean’s focus on innovative design, luxury amenities, and expanded capacity.
The Legend of the Seas is positioned as a floating luxury resort, aiming to attract a broad spectrum of travelers seeking high‑end vacation experiences on the seas.
