Royal Delft and Boskalis report divergent H1 2026 financial results

Royal Delft reported explosive revenue growth in the first half of 2026, driven by its acquisition of BOSKA. Revenue rose 172 percent year-on-year, increasing from 4.86 million to 13.2 million euros. Without the impact of BOSKA, revenue grew by a more modest 2 percent. The company's EBITDA reached 1.89 million euros, a 49 percent improvement, though growth was partially tempered by one-time acquisition costs.

In contrast, maritime service provider Boskalis saw a decline in performance during the same period. Revenue fell to 1.90 billion euros from 2.35 billion euros in the previous year, while net profit dropped to 275 million euros from 426 million euros. The company attributed these results to geopolitical uncertainty, particularly in the Middle East, which led to lower fleet utilization and delays in new project awards. While the Offshore Energy division remained strong, the Dredging & Inland Infra segment faced more challenging market conditions.
