Royal Enfield sees high demand for Himalayan motorcycle series
Royal Enfield is experiencing significant demand for its Himalayan motorcycle series across different markets. In India, the company has suspended new bookings for the Himalayan 440 because demand has exceeded initial projections, with six months of production already fully booked. The company is currently focusing on fulfilling existing orders and increasing production capacity.
In Brazil, the Himalayan 450 has reached 12,500 total units sold since its March 2025 launch. The manufacturer has expanded the model's color palette to include Kaza Brown. Sales in Brazil have shown consistent growth, with an average of 628 units registered per month between January and August 2026. The brand expects a 12% increase in registrations by the end of the year compared to 2025.
