Hamburg Airport expands international flight connections

Hamburg Airport is expanding its international flight connections. Royal Jordanian will increase its frequency of direct flights between Hamburg and Amman starting October 26, 2026, as part of the winter flight schedule. The airline is adding a third weekly flight on Mondays to meet high demand, utilizing an Airbus A319 for the new service, while maintaining Airbus A320neo aircraft for Wednesday and Saturday flights.

Additionally, easyJet has resumed direct service between Hamburg and Geneva. The route, which had been unavailable since 2020, will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays. Airport officials noted that these expansions strengthen the international connectivity of Northern Germany and provide travelers with better access to the Middle East and Switzerland.
