Royal Lancaster London named best hotel in the UK

Royal Lancaster London has been named the best hotel in the United Kingdom in the 2026 Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best awards. The hotel also secured fourth place in the global rankings.

The ranking is based on millions of reviews posted on the platform over a 12-month period. Located near Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, the hotel occupies a building designed by architect Richard Seifert and completed in 1967. Originally intended as an office tower, the structure was later converted into a hotel.

General Manager Sally Beck attributes the hotel's rise from 272nd place in 2013 to its current top position in the UK to the dedication of its staff. The hotel features 411 rooms and suites and maintains a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Tripadvisor from over 3,200 reviews.
