Royal Welsh Winter Fair tickets now on sale

Advance tickets are now on sale for the 2026 Royal Welsh Winter Fair, scheduled for November 30 and December 1 at the Royal Welsh Showground in Llanelwedd, Builth Wells. Recognized as one of Europe’s leading prime stock shows, the two-day event will feature competitions for cattle, sheep, pigs, and horses, with prize-winning livestock scheduled for auction on the final day.

Beyond livestock, the fair includes various competitions in categories such as floral art, butchery, cookery, and handicrafts. The event serves as a major Christmas shopping destination with hundreds of trade stands offering gifts and crafts. Special features include a Food Hall showcasing Welsh artisan products, a street food area with live music, and a pyro-musical firework display on Monday evening.

The fair also incorporates educational components, such as the Countryside Careers programme, designed to introduce students to opportunities within the rural and agricultural industries.
