Royalton Vessence Barbados Resort Inaugurated by Prime Minister Mia Mottley

On July 14, 2026, Royalton Hotels & Resorts officially opened its first Caribbean property, the Royalton Vessence Barbados, an all‑inclusive, adult‑focused resort on the island’s Platinum Coast. The ceremony was attended by Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley, government officials, tourism leaders, and Royalton executives, including development director Daniel Díaz, who together cut the ribbon and unveiled a commemorative plaque.

The 220‑suite resort introduces the brand’s new "The Art of Vacation" concept, blending upscale design with immersive local culture through art studios, culinary experiences and performances featuring steel‑pan music.
