Royce Keys AEW departure WWE signing SummerSlam 2026 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Professional wrestler Royce Keys announced his departure from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) earlier this year to join WWE, citing his lifelong ambition to become a WWE Superstar. While he kept personal reasons private, he emphasized that the opportunity to wrestle for WWE was the decisive factor in his career move.

Keys, a former TNT Champion and World Trios Champion in AEW, debuted in WWE at the Royal Rumble and later won the 2026 Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He is scheduled to compete in a six‑man tag team match at SummerSlam 2026 alongside LA Knight and Solo Sikoa against The Usos and Jacob Fatu. AEW President Tony Khan praised Keys' run in AEW and wished him success in WWE.
