Rozalén announces first pregnancy and new book project

Spanish singer Rozalén has announced she is four months pregnant with her first child. Sharing the news on social media alongside an ultrasound image and her partner, Bonzo, she described the pregnancy with the phrase, “Pollito vasco manchego en camino!”

The announcement comes during a self-imposed professional hiatus that the 40-year-old artist began in late 2024 following fifteen years of continuous musical activity. Rozalén noted that she is using this period of calm for various creative pursuits, including composing new songs and working on a new book.

Her partner, known professionally as Bonzo, is a Basque production and technical professional within the music industry. The news has drawn widespread congratulations from fellow artists and public figures in the Spanish cultural sector.
