Rozalén discusses musical career at Cuenca cultural event
Singer-songwriter Rozalén participated in the ninth edition of the ‘Malos Tiempos para la Lírica’ cycle at the Fundación Antonio Pérez in Cuenca. During the event, organized by the Babylon Festival and supported by the Diputación de Cuenca, she engaged in a conversation moderated by Javi Collado.
The discussion covered Rozalén’s musical journey, from her early beginnings with the bandurria to her reconciliation with traditional folklore, which influenced her album Matriz. She also addressed her social commitments, including themes of equality, inclusion, and the defense of rural areas. The cycle is dedicated to the independent music scene and will continue with upcoming appearances by Julián Hernández and the band Inspector Harry.
