Råplan film sequel explores teacher-student conflict

The film ‘Råplan’, directed by Christian E. Christiansen, is an independent sequel to the cult classic ‘Råzone’. The drama features Laura Christensen returning to her iconic role as Christina, who is now a teacher at the same school where she was once a student.

The plot centers on a power struggle between Christina and Mathilde, a 16-year-old student living in a residential facility following her mother's death. As Mathilde struggles with a chaotic life involving substance abuse and a toxic relationship, the confrontation between the teacher and student escalates beyond the classroom, forcing Christina to confront her own past.

Critics have noted the film as a harsh and thought-provoking continuation, highlighting Ella Testa Kusk’s performance as Mathilde for its ability to portray a complex character that avoids typical stereotypes. The film is being screened at local venues such as Filmteatret Hobro.
