RØRY's second album ‘BLOODLETTING’ debuts at #8 in the UK

Independent alternative artist RØRY has reached a career milestone with her second album, ‘BLOODLETTING’, which debuted at number 8 on the UK Album Chart. The record also secured the number 1 position in the Rock and Metal Albums category.

The album's chart success was largely driven by physical sales, which accounted for 97.2% of total sales, while streaming contributed the remaining 2.8%. RØRY promoted the release through a series of in-store acoustic performances and signing events across the country.

Musically, ‘BLOODLETTING’ represents an evolution from her debut, ‘RESTORATION’, moving toward a heavier sound characterized by harder guitars and more intense vocal textures. The songwriting explores themes of grief, mortality, and emotional reclamation, including tracks such as ‘SWALLOW’ and ‘MORTAL’.
