RSC Anderlecht appoints Karim Mokeddem as RSCA Futures coach

RSC Anderlecht has appointed Karim Mokeddem as the new head coach of RSCA Futures. The 52-year-old Frenchman brings extensive experience from various French professional clubs, having worked his way up from the amateur leagues to the professional level with clubs such as Lyon-Duchère and Orléans.

Mokeddem holds a UEFA Pro License and is recognized for an attacking coaching style. His primary focus will be on player development to prepare young talents for the first team. Sporting Director Antoine Sibierski noted that the appointment meets the specific profile required for a U23 trainer.

The appointment follows a difficult period for the RSCA Futures in the Challenger Pro League, which saw the departure of previous coach Jelle Coen after a series of losses. Prior to Mokeddem's arrival, the team was managed on a temporary basis by Yannick Kindermans and Marvin Ogunjimi.
