RSC Anderlecht nears signing of striker Tawfik Bentayeb

RSC Anderlecht is set to finalize the signing of Moroccan striker Tawfik Bentayeb from US Touarga. The deal is reportedly worth approximately 4 million euros, despite the player having a market valuation of 8 million euros. Bentayeb, who has recently been called up to the Moroccan national team, is expected to undergo a medical examination before officially signing his contract.

The arrival of Bentayeb increases the competition within Anderlecht's attacking lineup, where he will compete with Danylo Sikan and Mihajlo Cvetkovic. This move has raised concerns regarding the future of Adriano Bertaccini; analysts suggest that with the increased depth in the forward positions, the Belgian striker may see even fewer playing minutes and could potentially be relegated to the club's B-team.
