RSC Anderlecht and Royal Antwerp FC pursue squad changes

Belgian football clubs RSC Anderlecht and Royal Antwerp FC are actively managing their squads as the transfer window nears its end.

Anderlecht is pursuing several moves to strengthen and refine its roster. The club is in negotiations for Dundee United defender Will Ferry, with a reported bid of approximately 2.5 million euros. Additionally, the club has announced winger Marten Winkler from Hertha BSC and is finalizing a deal for striker Tawfik Bentayeb from Union Touarga for roughly 4.5 million euros. To balance the squad, players such as Mario Stroeykens and César Huerta are reportedly being phased out under coach Vitor Bruno.

Royal Antwerp FC, led by technical director Marc Overmars, aims to reduce its large squad of over 30 players while generating revenue. The club is looking to facilitate departures for several players, including Anthony Valencia, Farouck Adekami, Mukhammadali Urinboev, and Gabriel Jesus David. Striker Gerard Vandeplas and defender Andreas Verstraeten are also among those identified for potential loans or permanent transfers to create more playing opportunities and financial flexibility.
