RSE Museum Asbach to host Open Monument Day 2026

The RSE Museum in Asbach has announced its participation in the 2026 Open Monument Day, scheduled for September 12 and 13. During this event, the museum will be open to the public from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Visitors can view demonstrations on the new track system involving various locomotives, including the diesel locomotive V6, the non-operational steam locomotive 53, and the rollable diesel locomotive V5. The museum's reception building features an updated exhibition covering the history of the railway from 1862 to the present. Additionally, the museum workshop will be open to provide insight into the restoration of the V13 diesel locomotive.
