RSG Roggen-Hof equestrian tournament draws 1,000 entries in Thönse

The RSG Roggen-Hof equestrian tournament held at the Feldmann family facility in Thönse concluded successfully after three days of competition from August 14 to 16, 2026. The event saw approximately 1,000 entries, marking a significant increase in participation compared to the previous year.

The program catered to various skill levels and age groups, ranging from youth leading rein classes to M-dressage and M-jumping. Despite high temperatures reaching 35 degrees Celsius on the first day, organizers implemented heat mitigation measures, including horse showers, regular watering of the arenas, and sun protection for riders.

Organizers Heike Feldmann and Andreas Schubert expressed satisfaction with the event, noting the essential role of over 70 volunteers in managing the large-scale grassroots sports competition.
