RSPCA rescues dog Jude from neglectful conditions

Jude, a dog rescued from a house lacking electricity and potable water, is making significant progress at the RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre. He was found living in total darkness alongside eight other dogs and several snakes.

Upon rescue, Jude was in critical condition, suffering from blindness and physical abuse. Renee Lodde, manager of the RSPCA Leybourne Animal Centre, noted that he initially struggled with basic behaviors, such as walking on a leash or recognizing toys and his own name.

Through patient care, Jude has learned to play with toys and interact with other dogs. Despite his transformation, he has been waiting for a permanent home for over 427 days. Shelter staff are seeking a quiet home with a fenced garden, ideally without other pets or small children.
