RSPP to receive Rp 581 billion investment for hospital transformation
Danantara and the State-Owned Enterprise Regulatory Agency (BP BUMN) are preparing an investment of Rp 581 billion to transform the Pertamina Central Hospital (RSPP) into a flagship national facility known as ‘Indonesia Hospital’.
Dony Oskaria, head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, stated that the project aims to establish RSPP as a premier medical institution with international service standards. This transformation will serve as a pilot project before similar quality improvements are implemented across 38 other hospitals managed by the Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC).
The upgrade includes enhancing medical services, updating facilities, and strengthening professional staff. To support this, IHC plans to recruit 40 specialists within the next two years and add an additional 70 specialists by 2030. RSPP has also launched a new ‘One Day Care’ chemotherapy service as part of its expansion.
