RSS attributes Jantar Mantar protests to systemic failures

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) stated that recent protests at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi reflect broader systemic failures rather than being solely about corruption. Speaking at the conclusion of a three-day coordination committee meeting in Visakhapatnam, RSS All India Joint General Secretary C. R. Mukunda noted that issues such as the NEET examination have created significant anxiety among the youth regarding their futures.

Mukunda emphasized that while there are shortcomings in systems across the country, meaningful change cannot be achieved through disruption or destruction. He called for a constructive approach where the central government, state governments, and society collaborate to address administrative and institutional gaps.

The meeting in Visakhapatnam included 326 representatives from 32 RSS-inspired organizations. Other topics discussed by the delegates included demographic changes, the drug menace among youth, disaster relief for Assam floods, environmental protection, and the implications of Artificial Intelligence.
