RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat calls Gen Z emotional and lacking calm thinking

Speaking at a gathering in Hyderabad, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said that India's Generation Z is "good, adaptable and emotional by nature" but does not think with a calm mind. He added that the generation is readily attracted to ideas that appear "visibly authentic," which influences its acceptance of social movements.

Bhagwat linked this observation to recent youth‑driven campaigns, noting that the authenticity of a cause can sway Gen Z support, and briefly referenced broader social issues such as the women's liberation movement and LGBTQ+ communities.
