RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat says India should not make permanent enemies of Pakistan

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat told an audience at the International Movement to United Nations (IIMUN) event in Mumbai that, during any conflict, India must stand with its government and armed forces. However, he warned that ties with Pakistan should not be permanently severed and that "permanent hatred is not the solution."

Bhagwat emphasized that while political and security issues may pause engagement, the historical and human connections between the peoples of India and Pakistan should remain intact. He added that after hostilities end, the path to rebuilding relations must stay open, and that the stance should be one of dialogue, harmony and coexistence rather than enduring enmity.
