RSS leader Sunil Ambekar backs democratic space for new ‘Cockroach Janata Party’ and praises Gen Z

Nationalist volunteer organisation RSS gave its first public response to the newly formed Cockroach Janata Party. RSS’s national propaganda chief Sunil Ambekar said India’s democratic system is strong enough to accommodate every voice and opinion, calling the political process transparent, the media independent and the existing parties capable.

Ambekar highlighted the optimism of the country’s Gen Z generation, saying young Indians have “unwavering trust in the nation” and operate within constitutional limits. He added that people‑to‑people dialogue with Pakistan should continue, even if official diplomatic talks are a sovereign matter, and reiterated RSS’s historic opposition to any division of India.

The remarks, made in Nagpur to journalists, marked the organisation’s inaugural comment on the party’s emergence and underscored its stance on democratic inclusion and youth confidence.
