Röszke and Csíkszereda Summer Festivals Announced for August 2026

The town of Röszke in Hungary will host the International Stuffed Cabbage Cooking Competition on August 7–8, 2026, alongside a series of cultural and musical programs such as folk dancing, concerts, a street party, and a children’s parade.

In Romania, the city of Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc) will hold its City Days from July 30 to August 2, 2026, across six venues with concerts, sports tournaments, craft workshops, and a jazz/blues lineup. Mayor Attila Korodi noted the program emphasizes local values and omits fireworks to suit the current economic climate.
