RTCG Council candidates demand document review

Candidates Oliver Nikolić and Professor Dr. Vuk Vuković for the Montenegrin Radio and Television (RTCG) Council have requested that the Administrative Committee of the Parliament of Montenegro allow them to review all documentation from non-governmental organizations and institutions supporting candidates before a final list is established.

The candidates have raised concerns regarding potential irregularities in the current selection process and previous procedures. They specifically pointed to instances where NGOs that previously supported different candidates are now supporting Nebojša Asanović.

Furthermore, the candidates have questioned the authenticity of certain documents, including registration decisions, financial reports, and statute changes made immediately prior to the competition. They are also seeking clarification on the legal basis for accepting support from cultural institutions founded by municipalities for candidates in the culture category.
