RTCG Council member challenges director salary and new appointments

Marijana Camović Veličković, a member of the Radio-televizija Crne Gore (RTCG) Council, has raised concerns regarding executive compensation and the legality of new council appointments.

Regarding compensation, Camović Veličković reported that the Council voted to increase the monthly salary of General Director Boris Raonić to over 4,000 euros. She opposed a proposal to grant Raonić a performance-based variable payment of two average salaries, arguing that his submitted work report consisted of routine promotional activities and legal obligations rather than exceptional achievements.

Separately, Camović Veličković has appealed to the Minister of Culture and Media and the parliamentary Administrative Committee to prevent the appointment of individuals who may not meet legal requirements for the RTCG Council. She specifically cited Miroslav Bob Milanović and Jumedia Mont Nebojša Asanović, alleging they violate laws regarding the incompatibility of functions and the prevention of conflicts of interest.
