RTL announces new rules for Sommerhaus der Stars 2026

RTL is launching the eleventh season of the reality show ‘Das Sommerhaus der Stars’ in 2026. The series, filmed in Bocholt, will consist of ten episodes, beginning on September 8, 2026, and concluding with a finale on November 3, 2026.

New rules have been introduced for this season, specifically regarding the ‘Auftakt-Triell’. In the opening challenge, eight celebrity couples will participate, but they must split into two groups of three. This format results in two couples being excluded from the game, and the participants will then decide which couple is barred from subsequent games. This change directly impacts the nomination process and the ability of contestants to secure protection against being voted out.
