RTL+ announces start date for reality show Prominent verwandt

RTL+ has announced that the first season of the reality series ‘Prominent verwandt’ will premiere on November 10, 2026. A spin-off of the ‘Prominent getrennt’ format, the show features prominent family pairs living together in a villa in South Africa to compete for a prize of up to 100,000 euros.

The series will consist of eleven episodes, including a reunion, with new installments released weekly on Tuesdays at midnight. The cast includes several well-known German personalities and their relatives, such as Daniela Büchner and her daughter Jada, Yeliz Koç and her father Savaş, and Thorsten and Nico Legat.

The program aims to explore family dynamics, unresolved conflicts, and emotional tensions as participants navigate individual and group challenges to avoid nomination and secure the prize money.
