RTL Group to integrate RTL+ into Sky offerings by 2027

Following the acquisition of Sky Deutschland by RTL Group, the companies are integrating their streaming services. In Germany and Austria, the first joint bundles of WOW and RTL+ are expected to launch later this year.

A major structural change is planned for 2027, when RTL+ will be integrated as a permanent component of the Sky offering. This move aims to differentiate brands: RTL+ will focus on reality TV, soaps, and local entertainment, while Sky will prioritize premium films, series, and sports.

The integration also extends to sports broadcasting. For the 2026/27 season, RTL Deutschland will expand its sports coverage, including live broadcasts of UEFA Europa League and UEFA Conference League matches on Sky Sport, as well as comprehensive coverage of the DFB-Pokal on RTL+.
