RTL Hungary denies cancellation of Heti Hetes talk show

RTL Hungary has denied reports that the talk show ‘Heti Hetes’ is being canceled. The clarification comes following speculation triggered by the absence of the program from recent TV guides and the cessation of ticket sales for upcoming recordings.

Marcell Verebély, Creative Director at RTL Hungary, stated that the show is merely entering a hiatus rather than ending. The break is intended to make room for the new season of ‘The Masked Singer Hungary’ (Álarcos Énekes). RTL confirmed that the show is performing well both on linear television and digital platforms, and is scheduled to return with new episodes in the autumn.

While some social media reports suggested declining viewership led to the decision, RTL maintains that the scheduling change is a strategic programming move for the cooler months.
