RTL announces eleventh season of Sommerhaus der Stars

RTL is preparing the eleventh season of the reality show ‘Sommerhaus der Stars’, set in Bocholt. The new season features eight celebrity couples competing for a 50,000 Euro prize. Notable participants include Julian F. M. Stoeckel and Marcell Damaschke, who have been a couple for nine years and represent the longest relationship in the show's history.

The upcoming season introduces significant rule changes that have drawn mixed reactions from fans. Instead of all couples competing simultaneously in the first game, the competition will be split into two separate trios. Additionally, a new ‘decision night’ will allow participants to vote on which couple is barred from participating in subsequent games, potentially increasing strategic alliances and tension.

The television broadcast is scheduled to begin on September 8, with episodes airing weekly. Streaming via RTL+ will start earlier, on August 25. The season will consist of ten episodes, concluding with a finale on November 3.
