RTL+ Premium to launch new series ‘Panelhősök’ in September

The new original series ‘Panelhősök’ is set to premiere on RTL+ Premium on September 17 with a double episode. Filmed in the authentic environment of a housing estate in Óbuda, the show follows the interconnected lives of five diverse families.

The series explores themes of love, family crises, and new beginnings across multiple generations. Key characters include Levi, a single father and aspiring musician; Niki, a university student from Debrecen; and Olga, who runs a local pub. The narrative also touches on financial struggles and community conflicts, utilizing the housing estate itself as a central character rather than a mere set.
