Die Verräter season 4 launches with Max Kruse and Cathy Hummels among 18 celebrities

The German reality‑strategy show "Die Verräter – Vertraue Niemandem!" returns for its fourth season on 17 August 2026. It will be broadcast on RTL and streamed on RTL+ with eight episodes airing Monday‑Thursday at 20:15 CET.

Eighteen well‑known participants, including former Werder Bremen striker Max Kruse, former TV host Cathy Hummels, influencer Ann‑Kathrin Bendixen, Gabriel Kelly and others, are divided into hidden "Verräter" and "Loyale" teams. Host Sonja Zietlow secretly assigns three contestants as Verräter; the winning side claims a "Silberschatz" of up to €50,000.

Early episodes have already produced eliminations: Cathy Hummels appeared on the first "death list," while Max Kruse was revealed as one of the three Verräter. The format features secret votes, night "murders" and possible role changes, creating tension among the cast.
