RTP receives three nominations for the Prix Europa 2026
RTP has announced three nominations for the Prix Europa 2026, a major pan-European broadcasting award. The nominations span digital media, video fiction, and audio music.
The series ‘3000 Depois de Cristo’, available on RTP Play, has been selected in the Digital Media category. This project utilizes artificial intelligence to present ten documentary-style stories set in the year 3000, offering social commentary on the future.
In the Video Fiction category, the series ‘Madrugada Suja’ has been nominated. Directed by Sebastião Salgado and based on a novel by Miguel Sousa Tavares, the thriller follows an investigation into corruption and economic interests. It stars Rafael Morais and Victoria Guerra.
The radio program ‘Semibreve – Intertextualidade’, produced by Antena 2 and authored by Andrea Lupi, is nominated in the Audio Music category. The program explores the relationship between music and various other artistic expressions.
The winners will be announced during a ceremony in Berlin this October.
