Croatian film “Koke” tours Dalmatian cinemas after festival triumph

The feature film “Koke”, written and directed by Igor Jelinović, won five awards at the 73rd Pula Film Festival, including the Grand Golden Arena for Best Film. Its Zagreb premiere at the Summer Cinema Tuškanac attracted over 600 spectators, who responded with continuous laughter and a prolonged applause.

From 23 July, the film entered regular distribution and began a summer‑circuit tour of coastal venues: a screening in Split’s Bačvice Summer Cinema on Sunday, followed by showings on 27 July in Hvar and 28 July in Jelsa, the island where the film was shot. Production was led by the Zagreb‑based company Eclectica in co‑production with the Serbian house Baš Čelik, with support from Creative Europe‑MEDIA, the Croatian Audiovisual Centre, Croatian Radiotelevision, the City of Split and the Serbian Film Center.
