Benidorm Fest 2027 announces 18 participating artists

RTVE has officially announced the 18 participants for the sixth edition of Benidorm Fest, scheduled to take place from January 26 to 30, 2027. The selection was made from 896 song submissions received during a 115-day period.

The lineup features a mix of established artists and emerging talents, including the return of Vicco, veteran singer Merche celebrating 25 years in the industry, and Puerto Rican songwriter Gale. Other notable participants include Bombai, Isabel Aaiún, and Andrés Koi. The competing artists will vie for the ‘Sirenita de Oro’ through two semifinals on January 26 and 28, culminating in a grand final on January 30 at the Palau d’Esports L’Illa de Benidorm.

While the festival serves as a major platform for the Spanish music industry, its connection to the Eurovision Song Contest remains uncertain. RTVE has not yet confirmed if the winner will represent Spain in 2027, following the broadcaster's decision to withdraw from the 2026 contest due to the participation of Israel. The official songs for the participants are set to be released on December 17, 2026.
