RTVE announces Raphael and Camilo for Christmas musical specials

Radio Televisión Española (RTVE) has announced the musical protagonists for its upcoming Christmas specials on the La 1 channel. The programming will feature musical shows and comedy programs as part of the holiday tradition.

Spanish singer Raphael will return to the public broadcaster for a special celebrating his career spanning over six decades. His appearance serves as a highlight for the network and coincides with the conclusion of TVE’s 70th-anniversary celebrations. Raphael holds significant industry milestones, including over 300 Gold records and 50 Platinum records.

Colombian artist Camilo will also headline a musical special. The announcement follows the release of his fifth studio album, ‘Para cuando sean mayores’. Camilo, who has established an international career in Latin pop and reggaeton, has previously expressed a strong connection to Spain, where he performed his first concert following the COVID-19 pandemic.
