RTZ Kolektiboa wins Suns Europe music competition

RTZ Kolektiboa, a musical group from the Basque Country, won the twelfth edition of the Suns Europe music competition held at the Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine. The group secured the technical jury prize, led by Paolo Cantarutti, for their energetic performance featuring urban sounds and socially engaged lyrics.

Other award recipients included the Catalan group Ölivias, who won the audience award (the Guglielmo Tonelli prize) for their experimental take on folk traditions. The Altre Europe award was also presented to Premio Ostana. The festival, which focuses on performing arts in minority languages, serves as a platform for cultural pluralism and linguistic rights within the Alpine-Mediterranean communities.
