Rúben Amorim's start at AC Milan: new coach, transfer moves and steady ticket prices

Portuguese manager Rúben Amorim arrived in Milan on 6 July 2026, becoming AC Milan’s head coach after a brief spell at Manchester United. In his first press conference he said in Italian, “It’s an honour to be the coach of Milan and I’m here to win.” He then toured the club’s facilities, including Casa Milan and the Milanello training centre.

Amorim has already begun reshaping the squad. The club confirmed the €75 million signing of striker Gonçalo Ramos and is close to completing the €30 million acquisition of defender Mario Gila from Lazio. Further targets mentioned include young centre‑back Gonçalo Inácio and, as alternative options, António Silva. At the same time, Amorim plans to off‑load several players, naming Ismaël Bennacer, Warren Bondo, Pervis Estupiñán, Youssouf Fofana, Santiago Giménez, Rafael Leão, Ruben Loftus‑Cheek and Fikayo Tomori as likely departures in the summer window.

Separately, AC Milan launched its 2026‑27 season‑ticket campaign on 7 July. Prices remain unchanged for the second year, with two formats – Classic (19 Serie A home games) and Plus (adds Europa League and Coppa Italia fixtures). Tickets are now managed through the MyTickets app, and the scheme includes flexible seat‑change options for club members.
