Ruben Amorim defends Luka Modric in heated press conference

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim expressed frustration with journalists during a press conference ahead of the club's Serie A match against Lecce. The confrontation arose when Amorim was questioned regarding the playing time of Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot.

Amorim defended Modric, referencing previous criticisms regarding the player's speed and stamina. He emphasized the necessity of squad rotation due to the team's schedule of playing three matches per week. The manager noted that while he wants to field his strongest lineup, he must manage player fatigue to maintain competitive pressure late in matches.

AC Milan currently holds sixth place in the Italian league with two wins and two draws this season. The team is looking to recover momentum following a recent 0-2 loss to Benfica in the Europa League.
