Ruben Amorim explains Christian Pulisic's absence from AC Milan lineup

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim has addressed the lack of playing time for Christian Pulisic, who has remained on the bench for three consecutive matches, including the recent draw against Juventus.

Amorim explained that the decision is primarily due to Pulisic recovering from an injury. The American attacker is dealing with a bone edema in the area between the tibia and fibula of his right leg, a condition that requires managing physical load to allow the bone to heal. Amorim stated that he is making tactical decisions based on the need to win matches and that Pulisic needs time to regain his optimal athletic condition.

Currently, Alphadjo Cisse has secured a starting role, performing well with two goals in three matches. The club is managing Pulisic’s training load carefully to avoid forcing a premature return.
