Ruben Amorim praises AC Milan's summer transfer window

AC Milan manager Ruben Amorim has expressed high satisfaction with the club’s summer transfer window, rating the recruitment process a “10 out of 10.” Ahead of a major match against Juventus, the Portuguese strategist emphasized that the new signings are top-tier players who are perfect fits for the squad.

Amorim highlighted the importance of club-wide alignment regarding player acquisitions to ensure success. He also addressed squad depth and tactical decisions, noting the reintegration of Fikayo Tomori into the lineup due to uncertainty surrounding Matteo Gabbia and a dense upcoming schedule of four matches in ten days. Additionally, Amorim noted the need to provide attacking space for Francesco Camarda.

Despite the positive transfer activity, Amorim remarked on the club’s recent historical struggles, pointing out that Milan has won only two Scudetti in the last 20 years and no Coppa Italia during that period, suggesting that the club still has significant work to do to return to its former glory.
