Pulisic is recovering from a microfracture and bone edema in his right tibia and fibula, an injury sustained during the World Cup match against Belgium.

Amorim has expressed strong confidence in the American player, describing him as a “really talented player” who is “perfect for how football is played in Italy.” The manager indicated a clear tactical plan for Pulisic, intending to utilize him between the lines rather than strictly on the touchline, potentially playing him on both sides of the pitch.

While Pulisic is undergoing personalized training, his availability for the upcoming match against Manchester United is unlikely. The goal is for him to return to action by the end of August, potentially appearing as a substitute in the match against Torino.
