Indonesian presenter Ruben Onsu has been named a suspect in a fraud and embezzlement case by the South Jakarta Metro Police. The legal status was confirmed by Police Public Relations Officer AKP Joko Adi Wibowo on Friday, August 21, 2026.

The investigation stems from a police report filed in August 2025 involving a complainant identified as P and a victim identified as DM. The case progressed to the investigation stage in April 2026. Following the examination of more than six witnesses and expert testimony, a case review led investigators to officially change Onsu's status from a reported party to a suspect.

The case reportedly involves an investment scheme where the suspect offered a business cooperation model to the victim.
