Ruben Onsu named suspect in Rp3.5 billion fraud case

Indonesian presenter and entrepreneur Ruben Onsu has been named a suspect by the South Jakarta Metro Police in an investigation involving alleged fraud and embezzlement. The case involves an investment sum totaling approximately Rp3.5 billion.

Onsu's legal counsel, Machi Ahmad, stated that the client requested a postponement of the scheduled examination on August 28, 2026, to allow time to gather and complete the necessary documentation and data requested by investigators. The defense emphasized that Onsu intends to cooperate fully and that the delay was not an attempt to evade authorities.

Onsu manages a diverse business portfolio, including the culinary brand Geprek Bensu, various food and beverage ventures, and the digital media production company MOP Channel.
