Ruben Van Gucht and Charlotte Van Looy welcome daughter Florence

Belgian sports journalist Ruben Van Gucht and his partner, writer Charlotte Van Looy, have welcomed a daughter named Florence Van Gucht Van Looy. The baby was born on August 11.

Van Gucht announced the news on social media, sharing a photograph from the maternity ward. The couple, who have been together for nearly six years and living together for four, described the newborn as their ‘little lioness.’

Florence is the first child for Van Looy. Van Gucht previously had a son, Mondo, from his marriage to Croatian athlete Blanka Vlašić. Van Gucht confirmed in recent media appearances that he is no longer married to Vlašić.
