Ruben Van Gucht resumes Parkies festival tour as DJ RVG
Belgian sport journalist and DJ Ruben Van Gucht, known as DJ RVG, is back on the Parkies festival circuit after a recent bike fall and a week of TV work for VTM GO. He will play a series of free shows at ten Parkies venues across Flanders, starting with Sint‑Niklaas on 4 August and concluding on 21 August. The 35th edition of the Parkies festival draws roughly 300,000 visitors each year and offers nightly performances from more than 20 artists, with stages opening at 19:00.
Van Gucht describes his sets as a blend of retro, trance and house, focusing on club classics that build toward a clear musical direction. The tour includes stops in Middelkerke, Maldegem, Blankenberge, Waregem, Torhout, Maasmechelen, Roeselare, De Haan and Maaseik, all freely accessible to the public.
