Rubik's Cube competitions held in Florianópolis and Dois Vizinhos

Official Rubik's Cube competitions are being held in Brazil, featuring various modalities recognized by the World Cube Association (WCA).

In Florianópolis, the ‘Floripa ao Cubo’ event takes place at Floripa Shopping on September 26 and 27. The competition includes 12 modalities, such as the 2x2x2, 3x3x3, Pyraminx, and Megaminx. The event aims to connect the community with mathematics and science through logical reasoning and problem-solving. Participants can compete in various categories, with medals awarded to the top three finishers in each official modality.

Simultaneously, the ‘Dois Vizinhos Open de Cubo Mágico’ is held in Dois Vizinhos at the ACEDV/CDL auditorium. This competition also features diverse challenges, including blindfolded solving, one-handed resolutions, and minimum-move challenges. The event is open to the public for free observation, allowing residents to witness the techniques used by competitors.
